In 2015 national comedian / actor and Greater 24 media personality, Quincy Carr, vowed to make everything “Crash The Party” BIGGER and BETTER than ever before! Although the previous 5 events were focused on Quincy’s birthday / company anniversary. He also collected Back-2-School supplies to donate to families in need throughout the area.
However, this year Quincy Carr selected Eggleston as a beneficiary of funds raised from the annual event. Eggleston is a well known non-profit organization celebrating 60 years of empowering adults with disabilities in the Hampton Roads area! By nights end, Quincy presented this awesome organization with a check for $1000 from a portion of the event’s proceeds to help continue their efforts in the community.
Those in attendance enjoyed an elegant cocktail hour with food / cash bar provided by Crowne Plaza and its extremely professional staff. Then we all heard from some of the event sponsors as WVEC’s own LaSalle Blanks entertained as guest host and drew winners for the many FREE door prizes available to those holding the lucky ticket number(s). Afterwards, the much anticipated comedy show began as stylish suit wearing Quincy Carr opened up with his funny clean adult humor and set the stage for national touring comedienne Laura Hayden; who brought it all home. Then what followed was one of the hottest after parties to hit the Summer in a long time as DJ Croz got everyone on the dance floor to burn off some calories!
